Our Saviour
Jesus Christ,
... hath
abolished death,
and hath brought
life and
immortality to
light through
the gospel.
(2 Timothy 1:10)
…I am the resurrection, and the life. (John 11:25) …because I live,
ye shall live
also.
(John 14:19)
We are made
“…partakers of
Christ”,
(Hebrews 3:14)
“…partakers of the Holy Ghost”, (Hebrews 6:4) “…partakers of
the divine
nature.”
(2 Peter
1:4)
“The first man Adam was
made a living
soul; the last
Adam was made a
quickening
spirit.”
“Behold, I shew
you a mystery;
we shall not all
sleep, but we
shall be
changed, in a
moment, in the
twinkling of an
eye, at the last
trump: for the
trumpet shall
sound, and the
dead shall be
raised
incorruptible,
and we shall be
changed.” (1 Corinthians 15:45, 51, 52)
“…Holy, holy,
holy, Lord God
Almighty, which
was, and is, and
is to come.”
“…that liveth
for ever and
ever.”
(Revelation 4:8,
9)
“…the blessed
and only
Potentate, the
King of kings,
and Lord of
lords; who only
hath
immortality...”
(1 Timothy 6:15,
16) “…unto the King eternal,
immortal...be
honour and glory
for ever and
ever. Amen.”
(1 Timothy 1:17)
In the days
following the
creation men
were living
hundreds of
years, today few
men live to even
see one hundred.
What has
happened between
then and now?
The answer is
simple yet is
just as
astounding as in
the days of
Noah,
"...the wickedness of man was great in the earth…"
(Genesis 6:5);
the answer is
sin. Methuselah
lived to be six
hundred sixty
nine years old,
but when you
hold that up to
immortality it's
like a snow
flake in a
blizzard. So
think a minute,
which would you
rather be, the
snow flake or
the blizzard?
Personally I say
neither, why,
because they
both come to an
end. The point
is we need to
look beyond that
which will end
but to that
which has no end
and there is
only One who
holds that
power. God is
from everlasting
to everlasting
and has given to
His only
Begotten Son
that same
status. Jesus
that Son, say to
us today that He
can give that
same status
(gift) to
"..whom he will"
(John 5:21).
As we look
around us we see
death everywhere
that is because
of the first
Adam which
sinned in the
Garden. Yet
another Adam has
entered into the
world and "knew
no sin" and is
immortality
having the keys
of "death and
hell" in His
possession.
Death and
destruction does
not have to be
your lot, you
need only to
believe, obey
and trust in Him
who conquered
death and the
grave. Let no
man deceive you,
the only way to
get to heaven is
in the Bible,
the Holy Word of
God.
God’s
Word tells us
that Jesus is
the only way, He
is the only
truth and He is
the only One who
will be able to
say to you,
“Come ye blessed
of my Father,
inherit the
kingdom” and you
shall be among
“The True
Immortals”.
You will
be with those
who will sing
praises
throughout the
endless ages,
live in that
city not made
with hands; lit
by God and the
Lamb.
There
shall be no
sadness only
joyous rejoicing
forever and
ever, for Jesus
has given you
life making you
“The True
Immortals”.
