Who Are We?

Since 2006 the Bush Hills Congregation has sown the word of the everlasting God by broadcasting on WATV 900 Gold on the AM Band in Birmingham, Alabama.

SUNDAYS 3:00 - 3:30 P.M.

This ministry was a concept and strategy designed to carry out the Great Commission.  The Great Commission (Matthew 28: 18-20) tells us to go into the world and preach the gospel to all nations.  Jesus, in the parable of the sower said that a sower went forth to sow seeds Matthew 13:3.  The word of God is the seed of the kingdom (Luke 8: 11).  It is our view that the church could do a greater job of carrying out the Great Commission if it engaged in intense, consistent, and concentrated efforts to simply get the word out.  In addition, we believe we have the truth but error gets more air time than the truth, and as a result, more people succumb to error than into truth.  This ministry was a strategic effort to solve this specific problem.  With all  things being equal, it stands to reason, the greater volume of seed sown, the greater the potential harvest (Luke 10:2).  This ministry has resulted in several listeners have attended worship services and our listening audience is growing.

Matthew 28:18-20    And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.  Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:  Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world.
